About Us

Benton Physical Therapy was established in October of 2006. The clinic was started with the goal of becoming the provider of choice in the Benton community. It is our belief that a model of clinical excellence combined with well developed customer service programs will allow us to achieve this goal.

The practice is owned by two therapists with over forty years of combined experience in rehab. We have taken great diligence in defining a best practices model where we have combined our experience of proven results with academic research in our field.

We practice a "hands on" approach to the practice of Physical Therapy and combine the manual therapies of stretching, strengthening, joint mobilization and myofascial release with the use of modalities to achieve the highest level of care possible. As modern as our clinical model is, we have a commitment to old fashion values and traditional medical care planning.

RICK LEE

Owner and Physical Therapist

Rick Lee is our Physical Therapist and one of the owners of Benton Physical Therapy. He was born and raised in Hot Springs, AR. He graduated with a Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas. He chose Physical Therapy as his career because he wanted to combine his love for fitness and sports with his desire for working in the medical field.

Rick has 16 years of experience in the field of Physical Therapy and has extensive training in Orthopedics and manual therapy. He has experience with most patient conditions including sports injury, surgical recovery, geriatrics, back pain and neurological conditions.

"Early on in my career I was asked to work with a patient that had multiple conditions and had not responded to other forms of treatment.  He had not walked in months and this was going to be a last effort before considering him wheelchair bound.  After working with him for one week he was on his feet and walking.  The family and nurses thought that it was a miracle.  It was not a miracle, the therapy simply worked!  I realized that at that moment I could have a real impact on people’s lives and livelihood.  Sixteen years later, I continue to get excited over each patients recovery."
